it goes to show how much further a great back line will take you *rather then a great pack.

They have one of the best backs in the game when he can be arsed in gi, and while I think merrit sucks he's certainly not the worst winger in the comp...compared to us, we have Ryan and flash (feki is good but not great, our centres are frequently death ridden).

How'd we get cheated? They got us by 6. The Taufua try had a missed conversion. There was no robbing going on.

Im gunna give manly the respect they deserve for that win. Imagine had we given Rabbitohs that 14 point lead. We wouldnt have reeled them back in going on last weeks game

Not really, if that taufua try isn't given manlys lead isn't as much obviously and we may have played with a bit more composure. It's all retrospective now though.

Well that is presuming after a no try we picked up our act. Like the cowboys game, you cant take 1 instant out of the game and expect it to pan out the same. But IMO Manly are the real deal, and we were lucky last week we pretty much got them on a bad night so to speak

True, we got manly on a rare off game and failed to win. I don't think we had the squad to win a premiership this season which is why i'm disappointed ayshford is our only signing so far for next season and we lose a few good players. I'd like to know if this asada stuff hadn't happened if we would have signed a few more players.

They are a very good team, I love the way they play.
Up by 10 with 15 minutes to go and they were still trying to score tries. You think our team would do that? You can have the toughest team in the world but 'class' wins out every time. I hope they win it.

Mm, they won't let Lyon go. They'll sooner let Matai go then Lyon, and give DCE the captain ship. Broncos are buying a premiership in getting barba and potentially Milford and DCE,if that's the cases lets not forget they have eyes on smith in the future.
