Yeah as much as I hate the team the current players earn a lot of respect from me. They play tough but also have skill and I have to respect them for that. Their young halves are good to watch too.

for me the thought of that makes me sick. Their fans are horrible gloating creatures at the best of times imagine if they actually win it.
I hope Manly take it out then we lost to the premiers always makes me feel better about the finals.

That doesn't bother me, all teams have their crap supporters. I've always had a soft spot for the bunnies, probably as a result of how they were kicked out of the comp.

I feel the same way, I'm happy for the people who actually stood by them through their hard times. But all the glory hunting bandwagon jumpers can GGF though.

Souths lost me when they got kicked out and so organised a march. The march itself wasn't an issue they wanted to show they had plenty of support (even though they had crap crowd avg's).
The problem is they couldn't get enough Souths fans to march so what did Souths do they went and hired thousands of in store demonstrators and all those people you walk past trying to get you to sponsor kids. They supplied them with Souths gear and got them to go on the march.
My wife worked for a company that organised almost 5k of these "fans".
So the pride of the league my arse they faked a whole load of the "public support" they got. They may have fans now but where were they when they were ****.

Hamsy, I don't have a problem with any of that. They did what they had to do to get reinstated, I'd hope our club would do the same. The fact they were punted in the first place was a disgrace.
