As someone else said previously,, swap Gardner and Gordon. It's not like the Titans have huge wingers. Would be a good test for Gards. We know Gards at fullback is dangerous...BUT,I really want to see Gordon let rip at fullback in Sharks colours first up

I wouldn't have a prop on the bench. Gals our 3rd prop. Starts at lock then when either Fifata or Ross goes off Gal goes up front and stays there in the prop rotation. Heighington comes on and stays tight and lock. Our strength is our back row so Lewis and Graham need to start with both Toops and Bukuya coming off the bench.

Only having one prop on the bench is allowing for the fact Gal also plays prop.

And flog gal? He can't take this 80min battering forever...

Exactly, if you use Gal for 80 minutes this season, come the finals, he'll be puffing.

If Gal is to move to the front row, he plays prop minutes, maybe a little more. Not 80 every game. He does that in origin 3 times a year and it smashes him.

We have Gal, Lewis, Toops, Graham, Boogs and Heighno, Gal can move, and theres plenty of talent to fill the void. If we can get Gal, Lewis, Graham and Bakuya all on the field at once, HOLY ****

My point being. Gal cannot sustain a combo of lock and prop for 80mins on the faint hope Gibbs will be back round 12 (highly doubt that) why flog him when we have 2 specialist props who although not the greatest in the comp can do thier duty well, and thus not
Kill gal prematurely this season....do we need reminding of the ending to the 2012 season already?

I agree get all the backrowers in the side. The issue is whether we need a 4th prop and we don't.

2014. Tupou/Ross will leave and hopefully we can sign a couple of gun front rowers.

But still, we have Green, Fifita, Ross, Taufua and Taga. Surely between them we can find 3 worthy guys to play, 1 on the bench, 2 starters plus Gal. If Gal wants to be known as the heroic captain he is becoming, he does what suits the Team best. If that means starting prop and going off after half an hour, and coming back on with 30 to go, so be it. Making 150 plus meters a game means ****ing nothing if he only does it for 16 games a year

l agree Fitzy but l think the dynamics have change again and l dont think we need a second hooker just one that can get 80 mins. Then we can fill the bench with backrowers that can have a bigger impact than the props just one prop to help Gals time on the field and his resiliance for the full year.IMO

Imagine a world where we could run an 80 minute hooker and have 2 props, 2 back rowers on the bench.
