Who on here is looking forward to the Olympics? I know I cannot wait for the Olympics to start, i'll be watching the Swimming and the athletics with intent, the gymnastics aswell. I wish it would hurry up and start.

Which sport and athlete do you think is our biggest chance of getting a medal this year and do you think we will be within the top 5-10 medal count? Your opinions?

Can't wait, will be watching everything.

I'm currently in the middle of a 5 week tafe break and the olympics start when I go back so that's crap timing as i'd be up all night watching it if I could.

I reckon Steve Hooker our Pole Vaulter has a good chance of getting a medal this year, Pearson aswell has a pretty good chance, we have a good record on the athletics and the swimming

god I hope not.

Also looking forward to the bball, both men and woman. The men are really weakened without bogut but I look forward to watching patty mills and dellevedova. The women will go well as usual.

If I'm home and some swimming or 100m sprints are on I'll prob tune in. But the Olympics don't really grab me since the days of Kieran Perkans. Used to love seeing him swim the 1500.

cant see anyone stopping a KD LBJ combo... ever

That is just scary!

Yeah wrighty if kyrie chose us it would make the team so much more exciting.

you reckon they will play Lebron in the 4 or play Durant in the Melo role?

You'd think they'd put LeBron at the 4. The way he played inside against the Pacers/Celtics/Thunder shows that he is godly when he plays extended minutes down low. Against Spain it might not work as well, but LeBron has done a number on Pau defensively this past year.

Durant should be used a pure spot up shooter or a bail out situation where theres 5 seconds left on the shot clock. His reach on his jumper means it will go virtually uncontested in the olympics.

The Olympics snuck up on me. I didn't even realise it was this year until like a week ago!
