for next year i would like to see us have hoops for home white away the 94/95jersey for heritage and a pink version for women's round and yellow for call to arms round and a bridge the gap jersey designed by Peachey or indigenous player from past or current indigenous player.View attachment 19212

6 jerseys?

I'd be happier with two. The main which doubles as heritage because rumour seems to be the hoops is the go, and an alternate. Doesn't matter what the alternate strip is because our colours only clash with a handful of teams (I'm thinking maybe bulldogs, titans and cowboys) so every other game I'd wear our main jersey.

I cannot stand the constant changes to jerseys throughout the year. Pinks and yellows and camouflage and diabetes and movies and tree day green and indigenous and I don't know what else they come up with.

The jersey should be sacred. Sharks need to set the standard.

Pretty hard to instil pride in the jersey when you don't even know what one you're wearing!

Choose a main jersey. If we play away and our colours clash, wear the alternate (which common sense suggests should be a mirroring of our main colours).

Knock yourselves out with coloured laces and boots and even socks if you want but leave the jersey alone.

ok i see your point sixgill but think of it from a revenue raising point of view if you only want one then just buy one but others may want 6 i know i only buy from the club so all revenue goes to the sharks whats the point of standing ground to instil pride in a jeresy when the club is going under more options raises more money for club . plus it was a wish list not set in stone at all. girls would love the pink jersey i would love to own the indigenous jersey as i'm sure others on here would as well hey jig. i do agree with you that we should always have our jersey which i the hoop jersey but variety is the spice of life my friend.

I think there's only a set amount of jersey in a season you're allowed anyway?

I know there's Home, Alt, Heritage and at least one special. I'd say max two specials? We use our members jersey as one special but still sometimes have another one in the season, e.g. the call to arms jersey was in the same year as a members jersey.

Next year it'd be good to have Home (hoops), Alt (black hoops), Heritage (V), Members (hoops w/ names), plus an indigenous one. Those would be my picks.

Hmmmmm. I don't think jersey sales will be enough to keep us afloat.

You know the Sharks are pretty good at doing things the right way, but I've seen so many excuses for a jersey this year that I hope we don't get sucked into the hype too.

The Sharks are black white and blue.

I get tired of turning on the tv (I attend games when I can ok) and not knowing who is playing because some team is commemorating some event. I think the silver Manly jersey with snake tattoo on the weekend tipped me over the edge.

And before you all start bleating, I'm sure all these causes are worthwhile and the publicity helps them, but let's peg them back a bit hey?

Sure some people may choose to buy every jersey ever released but I'd be interested in the percentage that this is of overall jersey sales.

I'm more than happy with my hoops when I'm back next month...and yes, from the club.

I actually hope we get a few 'special' jerseys over the next few years.

Fact is, if we want the hoops jersey longterm, NRL/Blades/stockists won't be too happy because once we buy one, we don't need to get another jersey for a long time.

If we have a Women in League, or an Indigenous jersey, us being fans and liking a bit of change will most likely go out and purchase it, keeping everyones hands greased and happy.

There is a point of going overboard like with the Warriors this year who have about 5 different designs with 3 different colour schemes (black/grey, black/red, black/green)

The jersey changes are for a good cause. Its not really the end of the world mate.

The Main jersey should be the 1 used 75% of the time, have saythe trials jersey for times we'd clash, and have say 1 charity per team. Be it cancer, green peace, aboriginal watever, or some promotional thing a big business throws some cash a clubs way for. ONLY ONE per team a season though.

But bugger off the naming each round something different. Have each team pick a cause, not the NRL picking ****. A team doesnt even have to. But i think its a good initiative

I didn't suggest it was the end of the world, but that 6 jerseys per club seems complete overkill, much like you said.

1 'special' jersey per season I can live with.:cheers

Working at Amart/rebel. All the commemorative jersey sell like hot cakes when we get them.

Broncos/dragons pink jerseys sold out
Warriors Green jersey sold out with in 3 days
Cowboys indigenious jersey sold out by round 7 this year.
Warriors pink jersey has slowed down a bit but mostly because they are doing ****.

I don't care about Jersey sales.. Look at any Dragons games, so many red V's. I want our hoops to be more prevalent than anything at our games, I can't stand our current home jersey..

Hoops is our Jersey, i've said it before.
