everything feeling good for 2011!!!

as an idea the sharks club should turn this into some sort of marketing idea/ annual event ... call it what you want but they could run something like thi severy year as an open comp where people/teams can enter and compete at this endurance event type stuff.. and the boys could compete aswell...raise the profile of the club and net proceeds goes to the footy team to raise $$

..

You do know the Bulldogs have been doing this for years dont you ?In fact they race the Cronulla - yes Cronulla Triathlon Club guys for a shield , each year

It amuses me that the Cronulla Triathlon Club, that has chosen to adopt the Black, White and Blue colours and has incorporated a Shark as a part of their logo, and yet chooses to set up an affiliation with the Bulldogs to the extent that they have an annually contested shield.

When I think of triathlon, I'm always reminded by a comical comment made to me by a very esteemed Life Member of the Cronulla Triathlon Club:

"How do you know if there is a triathlete at your party?"

"They're the wanker letting everybody know!"

Yep... it's a gruelling sport... for spectators.

Thats an old joke Fitz but Oh so true.

And Buz ? I think Fitz answered the question that you asked of me - the cronulla club has an affiliation with the Bulldogs - why not the sharks ?

Like the diehard fan I am, I went and watched the boys train through the gates of the field they practice on beside Toyota Stadium just before Christmas on my way to the beach. Ryan Tongia looked awfully shaky under some of the not-so-high kicks that were being put up. Williams/Mills on the wings for mine with Best/Collis in the centres.
