Member's Jersey News
I spoke to Sharks Stadium and Retail Manager, Jarrod Johnstone today about the Member's Jersey and the Hisense logo.
Firstly, the jersey will be available for collection from the Leagues Club in the week leading up to the season kickoff. The jersey that the members will have will be the same as those of the players apart from the fact that the players will have the Hisense logo on the front of their's whilst the Member's will not. At this stage the Club is also reasonably confident of having a sleeve sponsor which likewise will not be on the Member's Jersey.
This is just a matter of logistics and timing and not something the Club could control because of leadtimes in the production of the jersey.
Provision has however been made to try duplicate names in the sponsorship area to other parts of the jersey so that (hopefully) no-one is inconvenienced.
The Hisense logo will be positioned at the size and with the white background bar as per the pics that have already been distributed from the sponsorship announcement.
The Club will make it a priority to send out the jerseys that Members have requested to be mailed as early as possible. If anyone has asked for their jersey to be posted to them, can they please contact the Club to confirm the size.... apparently quite a few people have not included a size for their jersey.
Also, I have been given every indication that the actual Member's jerseys worn by the players on the day... including the Hisense logo... and hopefully the sleeve sponsors logos, will be auctioned off after the game.
