He did a bloody good job to get Souths to the GF, especially without their star player.

A few things go their way and they likely win it.

Agree he left Newcastle and Brisbane in bad shape but the clubs themselves need to take some responsibility for that. There is oversight.

Yep, just finished the other week. It does change up the pace a little but still a good show

They would be stupid to sign anyone but Bennett. Starting with a blank chequebook, players will sign for less to play under him and they can be competitive right away. This then will help to build their fan base.

Don't think there were any better options around to help build a club. Bellamy was probably it, but we don't know if he was even ever a realistic chance.

Be smart with cap and play the long game.
