That does suck. Whoever did the editing is a ****ing goose too - '85 game vs Manly and some Manly bloke got sent off but we never saw it. Gotta be good to get ya sent in the 80s!

I've recorded them all, working my way through randomly. Watched '85 vs Manly, '89 vs. Broncos and '01 vs Broncos.

Why was '89 vs Broncos played at Parra Stadium?
the manly game was 95, I finished watching it yesterday and I thought I must have missed the sending off

Watching the early 2000's games it was so good to watch nick graham in action again, what a fantastic ball playing forward he was, had it all, offloads, kicks and good ball playing ability, wish we had a lock like him now

Yeah he was a good player but I reckon he was a bit of a ball hog at times. Every team should have a ginger in it though, should be mandatory.

Footy was so much better to watch back then, much more attractive game.

Yep that's how footy should be played, I find it a bit boring these days (unless it's a Sharks game).

The reason it was so attractive was because the refs let a lot of things slide.

There were plenty of forward passes and knock on's in the early 2000's games that were play on.

85? lol never mind me :drunk

I hit the rewind when Rabs said in the 2nd half about the send off late in the 1st thinking I missed it too. It was Owen Cunningham I think that got sent - anyone remember what for?

I watched 2001 flogging of the Bulldogs last night. Nick Graham with the first try backing up the speedsters, then boots a 40/20 as the Bulldogs began to build up some momentum.

Also watched 2007 v Dragons when Birdy put that belter of a hit on one of the neckless twins. Also good to see Ryles gumbying up a footy field again lol

I always loved Nathan Long haha. Nick Graham was mad. How good was his 40-20 against the Dogs in 2001 in the semis. Wouldnt see Gallen doing that. He'd try though

I love that both of those Saints games they showed 2007 and 2011 Pomeroy got doubles in both haha

Nathan Long was a champion. Same with Marty Lang. Being a bit younger then the backs like Peach, Campbell and Rogers stood out to me more and I probably underappreciated the work of the big fellas but Long and Lang always stood out to me.

Pom minus the dick fingers had the ability to do that on the weekly. Pitty about the dick fingers.
