Good trial and much improved in defence. I think that’s what Fitz would be pleased about. No Nicho doesn’t help with the direction of our attack and with BB off for an early shower it was obvious we didn’t care much about the points.

Out of the reserves I thought Iro was the one that stood out the most. Also loved the big tall fellow Tuku, made some good strong runs. I thought we hit well in defence and we covered everything the Dogs threw at us.

My last comment involves those who insist on clogging up the thread by complaining about the refereeing. Apart from the Burton sin bin miss, I thought Gee was ok. We can’t continue worrying about referee decisions, you just have to get on with it. Refs will make mistakes they are human, the top teams always seem to get by and win games. Those who think there is some sort of conspiracy are going to go crazy if they keep thinking like that.

Sarcastic posts about how you can’t complain because the NRL are always right are bordering on childish.

The only sarcastic posts I saw were about the refs trying to get the dogs a win... in a trial game.

Honestly Chad you might be better off avoiding the game day threads. I get it - I really do. But asking footy fans to stop bagging the refs is like asking St George fans to stay away from their cousins.

How Did our Centres go?;)
I thought Talakai was solid without being spectacular.

Ramien was mostly good but got caught out badly a couple of times rushing up in defence and being caught in no man's land. Nikora got binned but the defensive lapse was on Jesse.

Iro played well the time he got thou
Much better than last week
Ah you managed to edit before my ‘worth keeping an eye on’ joke

Yeah he actually had some highlights this week. Gotta think fact he didn’t grab last week by the throat, and Talakai started this week, has Sifa in the box seat come round 1
