Not as bad as it sounds $15m loan for a club that shouldn’t need any money spent on it for a long time is chump change.

The whole stadium, leagues club and development thing could have gone a lot better but let’s not forget covid happened in the middle of it.
Completely out of our control and could have been a lot worse.

The funding issue is a tricky one but we should be credited for doing well in spite of no outside support, not denounced for not having it

Problem is that the entire rebuild of the leagues club is about $37 million ($9 million building work, and $28 million fitout). So this loan is only part of the cost.

You almost wonder whether it's worth it...

How did we get to this thou.
We have no more land to sell!!

It would be very disappointing if we start struggling financially again

It'll be interesting how gameday evolves with our first home game and Bay Central.

Expecting Dan Murphys and KFC to get record numbers pre and post game.

Levain Pizzeria open til 9:30pm on a Friday.

It's not quite the same as having a presentation in the auditorium, but nice to have a few options again if you want to extend game day.
