Not sure if anyone has said it already but I thought Bukuya was awesome against the Dragons. I'd quite happily have him at lock ahead of Gallen.

ha ha when quoting stats goes wrong

Boogs actually made many peoples 3,2,1 points and rightly so

As for the GST sign, well in the current political environments it's almost relevant again... still a **** sign

Not very clever are you?

He came off the bench you d$&k.
aren't bench forwards suppose to make meters? Don't get your logic with this post

He played nearly half the game and only managed 5 hit ups, in fact he played more minutes then the other 2 bench forwards yet made less metres

Thought he was good round 1 but went backwards this week and not sure how people saw him in the top 3 players on sunday

I think people are looking at metres made way too much. Fifita made about a million metres but in all honesty I wasn't all that impressed with him by his standards, I don't even remember 1 offload from him. Let's remember Bukuya was playing lock and their role is not metres gained. He stood out in that match, and scored a try. Have a look at the 3,2,1 thread and the game day thread and you'll see a lot of people were impressed.

So apart from not running the ball and not tackling, what exactly was he out there doing?

umm what, what is the job of the lock if he isn't going to make the runs up the middle. He definitely wasn't out there just to tackle that's for sure.

I would like to know what everyone saw in bukuyas game to suggest he had such a great game. Barely ran the ball and only made 13 tackles so it wasn't like he was tackling his backside off. Both lewis and wade had better games and added far more impact then bukuya

So you judge fifitas game on offloads, not the fact he takes the hard hit ups and bends the line backwards getting us on the front foot from the first play, his job isn't to offload all the time, it's to make meters and he did it perfectly. Most times when he takes a hit up he has 3 sometimes 4 people on him because he draws so much attention but still managers to keep rolling forward. I think you underestimate the importance of setting up a set with a strong first carry.

So tell me what impressed you so much about bukuyas game? What was your 3-2-1?
