Don't know how long Lewis has got left in those legs.
going by this year not long. He was left short in quite a few games not to mention the times he was out bludging on the wing

He's time is up. Hasn't been as good as I thought he was going to be. Shadow of a player he was at penrith but unfortunately we just got him at a bad time

He's shown patches of class but this is true. Like gallen if his minutes are managed it will be better overall for the team.

If we could get him with the guarantee of no off field issues I'd swap bird out, if not it's a pretty big risk as bird will be a big talent.

I would however be happy to offer him big Money to come here and parter bird in the centres.

rather replace them both with Cordner and segyaro to be honest

Would be hard to turn those two away. Would also be pretty hard to prise them from their well run Clubs.

Don't know how long Lewis has got left in those legs.

Would have to be year by year contracts from now on you would think. Maybe a 1 + 1 with the second in our favour if he decides to play on. He would still be a very useful bench impact option and seems to have a good influence on the squad but its hard to see him being a starting edge player in 2017 when most of those will be expected to play 80 minutes with reduced interchanges.

Big calls coming for Flange, Lyall and Mooney. There's four blokes who are coming to the end and don't seem ready to go. They moved on two last year and we'll be better for it.

An excerpt - BELOW

The opportunity to play fullback could be the clincher for James Roberts as clubs immediately began circling the Dally M centre of the year.
Just hours after news broke that Roberts had severed ties with the Gold Coast over the contract forgery scandal, Parramatta, St George Illawarra, South Sydney, Brisbane and Cronulla began jockeying for his signature.
Roberts isn't the only high-profile

I like you AB, but lafai isnt nearly as good as Roberts. Not even in a metho induced fantasy land

Yeah. Its an exaggeration. I suppose I'm looking at what each would add to the Club as a whole... Lafai would be a good contributor for a number of years in most games he plays, including in defence. Would suit the way our left edge works too. Roberts runs the risk of being a flash in the pan (for a number of reasons).

I suspect its all moot anyway.

I'd be happy to sign Lafai but I think Roberts is far more dangerous. I understand what you're saying re his off field stuff but let's not forget he's only 22. I know they don't all change but he will hopefully mature. The only negative I can see is he's from Kempsey. :glasses-cool:

This is what I meant about supporters being less risk averse than admin.

Flannos mate, there's your answer.

Maybe. Doesn't seem the type though. Quiet.

Tbh I don't really buy the 'in group/out group' story. All organisations have certain people who set the tone and if you don't fit you don't stay. Sporting teams even more so. And that's not an entirely bad thing - the 'in' group culture just needs to be healthy and open.

It might just be that Leutele's earned the respect of his peers.

Would people give up Bird to sign Roberts if it was an option. I would.
Yeah probably, Roberts is the better player at this point.

Bird I see chasing the money and perhaps not lasting all that long. Plus this so called position drama.

Roberts has his off field issues of the past.

I'm not set one way or the other but I'd probably lean slightly towards Roberts at this stage.

Hiku apparently just signed with the panthers

Yep 3 year deal, will be great for them. Noticed in the article they mentioned Penrith celebrating their 50th season next year, are we just in denial of going 50 years without a comp or what? Baffles me that the club's planning on celebrating after the 50th season is complete.

An anniversary celebration is recognition for the past work of people who helped create this club and the people that kept it going through all the ****. St George and Balmain had to merge, Rabbitohs ceased to exist and had to be bought off by Crowe, even Manly were the Northern Eagles for a while. We should be proud, we are self-run and own a ground. A trophy in a cabinet is the goal but it's the journey that's important, or some ****.

Gal lewy and "ennis are amongst my all time favorite Sharks, but to me the absolute worse thing we could do is committe to all 3 with extension to early, ennis I'm happy to go 1+1 but the other 2 please let's not get trigger happy and go to early, no matter what the papers say can't see any club other than tits n tigers paying good overs for either gal or lewy.
