From a performance perspective not to bad a game for Sydney, plenty of positives to take away early in the season. We are building something special.
Hard to find to many positives after giving up 4 goals at home. But in saying that at 2 all, we hit the post twice then the ball goes up the other end, the bloke shanks the shot, takes a deflection, lands right at the feet of one of his mates and he scores the easiest goal of the night. That's bad luck, but that's football.
Hate to say it, but in Berisha, Barbourosos and Khalfallah, supported by Finkler, the Tards have THE best forward line in the A-League, they tore us to shreds. Berisha may be an arrogant piece of dog ****, but he's the best striker running around in the league at the moment. Melbourne's weakness is their defence, we knew we could score a couple against them, we just had to limit the damage their forwards could do, unfortunately they had other ideas.
Still early days though, I'm not going slit my wrists over it. We'll be fine.
