the cap wont get to 8mil for a while, it is peaking at 7.5 in 2017?

thats 10% on a guy who doesnt put in for 80 minutes

no thanks. 800k gets you RTS. Id pay 550-600 max

I thought I read somewhere the cap would be increasing to over $10m in 2018? Could be dreaming though.

Also even if that's the case, we'd have him for 2017 on that money. Alongside fifita, barba on full wage, upgraded contract for Jack and there's still others earning 500+.

Would still love him in our colours, just for the right price.

Forgot about Barba, that could really hurt unless he hits some form. Next year should reveal more with him likely to start matches.

Yeah maybe 800k is a bit over the top but I do love the bloke. Would love him playing for us. Plus, he has endeavour's seal of approval, what more do you want???

he is not the player we need at all

he is a lazy defender and goes missing

the most minutes he has played this year are 63, as a starter

Yep, needs to improve alot to earn the big money. I think a new club with a stricter forwards approach would work wonders for him.

I think he'd do really well at Souths, Titans would be a big mistake. Coming to us to learn from Lewis and Gallen would be a smart move too...but not on elite money.

I think Taupau is a better "lock" than Taumalolo, like at least he tries to tackle every now and again. Fifita and Taupau are pretty comparable, but Fifita is better. Taupau is supposed to be a pretty good bloke off field from what I have heard though, so that's something to consider.

i just got a message saying taupau is a done deal to the titans providing his release is granted.

sideways move for him. he should wait until a roosters or manly have a bit of cap room

yep agreed, and with Myles going he's going to have alot of pressure to perform week in week out.

Silly move, good pick up by the Titans though.
