I'm worried about all the crap hyping articles on us combined with that other rubbish article saying we're referee's faves. Add that to JT's constant whinging and I'm concerned about the influence on the refs.

That's not conspiracy theory - that's just what happens a lot.

Yep. Pretty much sums it up. My worst fears for this week.

For what it's worth I have a little conspiracy brewing in my head, I'm worried the powers to be knowing JT will surely win his 4th Dally M will want to ensure he will play in the GF the week after to reap all of the hype and build up that goes along with it going into the game.

Refs will protect the Cowboys.

Hope it's another of my stupid ideas....
nah. There is invariably no conspiracy, that is why when the cowboys lose and they run around screaming conspiracy iit is so bloody funny.

I will actually be really disappointed if we lose, obviously due to losing, but also because I really wanted the team to at least make the prelim this season, if we make it that far, at least it does show evidential progress over the past 4 seasons, as it's the furtherest we've been for 7 years. I think after the good run we've had, it would be a shame not to get that far.

Not a bad team. Both teams look full strength.

No they aren't, they don't have Matt Wright lining up for them :glasses-cool:

Lucky for us.

What are people's thoughts on Morgan? He is still getting hyped up but I think he's dropped off a heap in the last 7-8 games compared to his form prior to that.

Didn't catch the game, but reading through the cows forum they are concerned with how Granville handled the defence workload Brisbane threw at him. They reckon they ran at him all night and his spark in attack suffered. We've got a bigger and stronger pack so hopefully we do the same thing. One less weapon in attack would be a massive plus.

I think he's good. He's confident in his ability and that allows him to pull things off others cant. However would be interesting to see how he plays without jt as he'd bear far more responsibility.

Yeah he is a good player, I just don't think he's currently in the same form he was early/mid season.

I know we had a tough game last week but the cowgirls had a very fast game and used up a ****load of petrol............I am hoping we run them around a bit to start and they should start to run out of gas in the second half if we are lucky

the broncos cowboys game was the fastest game i have watched in a long time

our game was slow and steady

i reckon if they come out all guns blazing in the first 20 and we weather the storm we will be in a great position to win the game

With a bit of luck they might start to panic & push passes, funnily enough, for most of the season or the recent games the cowboys haven been slow starters, if they happen to start slow I am hoping we are good enough to put some points on the board.

One thing in our favour is Ennis can play his game which is good for our attack, they aren't as effective in the wrestle as the Storm are.

The butthurt from their players and supporters will be all time. I see us pulling out our best and most complete performance of the year for this one. Go Sharkies!! :hoping

did you see jt and thaiday collapse at the end of the game? i was exhausted watching the replay! if the cowboys can maintain that intensity then we are in a bit of trouble but i think the weather and humidity will make for a slower game

just need to stop with the ruck penalties to give them a leg up.
