Well one of the good things to come out of the match is that we attempted 3 set plays at the cowboys end and all 3 were tries in the end

and of course the win:D

Did the cowboys come back or did our boys knock off and get ready for a coldy?

umm.. a bit of both.
we played pretty well in the first half, then the second half was really scrappy from both teams and they scored a couple of soft-ish tries, although o'donnell did show some good skills to catch the bomb but there were 3 sharks players and he was the only cowboy contesting so thats dissapointing.

dissapointing thing is that we didnt score any tries in the second half, which isnt the first time this season.

but i guess you cant be too unhappy coming back from townsville with 2 points!!

now we need a win at home against brisbane as we cant lose 3 home games on the trot. im pretty sure gal and birdy will be out cos of origin selection, but so will half the broncos team.

Did we play really well for most of the game or did they play really bad?

A combination I think; our defence was mostly great and although we didn't score a try in the second 40 I thought that we played with plenty of enterprise and confidence with the ball in hand throughout the match. Gallen led the way in the forwards, a phenomenal effort backing up from last night's test, and it was an excellent performance from our halves; Kimmorley and Seymour combined well on attack and gave us good field position throughout with superb kicking games.

Even sticky said they where both pretty good trys at the end by the cowboys. The Webb one was soft. but the try from the BOMB was pure fluke luck. (i have my doubts about it but)

Great Game By All..

Ref Had A Couple Of Shockers..

1. That Penalty Against De Gois For Taking Out Jt..how The **** Could He Have Pulled Out Of It And It Was Just As He Kicked It..grow Some Balls D!ckhead

2.2 Blatant Forward Passes By The Cowboys Missed

3. The cows last try, O'donnell Knocked It Into Covells Leg...knock On, But Good Try Anyway

Woot..!

noddy had a good game..some good things mixed with 2 shockers..that led to cows tries..1st one where he rushed out of the line..2nd ordinary attempt on carl webb..but HOLY SH!T A 40/20..

good work he is playing for a contract..which is making him trying to finally play some decent sh!t..finally an inside pass sets up a try..

GALLEN! enough said

seymour had a shocker in attack but his defense was great

devil dodgers defense was great..

misi - great game by him, few mistakes but the other stuff he did out of dummy half was brilliant..

That was a really good and well deserved win. Those who were under pressure came out and performed - Kimmorley had a blinder, setting up 2 tries aswell as having a fantastic kicking return, and as always was the first one down there making tackles after his own kick. Simmons had a good game, with a few decent runs and even a try saving tackle in the 56th minute. Covell's kicking game was good kicking 4/5, however from out wide he only kicked 1/2. Gallen, Birdy and Nutley had blinders in both attack and defence. Seu Seu made a few really good dummy half runs, but still needs just a lil more fine tuning, and Kearney had a great game as usual. And the best part is all our set plays came though and gave us the goods.

Im really glad they backed up, pulled through and won this one. This goes as proof that Sharks are premiership contenders this year, and finally they can get their season back on track and really rack up the wins.

I agree with Sharkyboy, Snowden was good- looks like a tough bugger. And Seu Seu has too many errors in him and no defence- counting the days until Kingston returns, and I still think with De Gois going we should seriously consider Noddy as a hooker for next year...

If even Peachey was impressed with Noddy you know he played well ;)
And I agree with you Peachey about your summary- Gallen is pure legend, and the ref missed had some shockers- add to your list the blatant offside when De Gois came back on and ran from dummy half, but the ref didn't want to blow the penalty and upset the home crowd by locking the Cowboys out of the game with a few minutes to go.

Oops- left out Nuts- Parko is right about his game- awesome.

he didnt play that badly in attack, he just didnt get the ball as much as he would have liked.

kimmorely was domineering like always but this time he created opportunities and set up tries also gallen and bird stood up in attack.
