Just circle the wagons and tell them all to go stick it. Defend our blokes to the hilt. It will mean plenty to them and the rest of the players. I'll be disappointed if they miss more than a week.
I heard the case of Alistair Clarkson, the Premiership winning Hawthorn coach was raised on the radio this morning. He had a verbal crack at a junior referee at his son's game a few years ago. His punishment? An apology and a (short) ban from the junior league.

Similarly, Paul Roos entered the field of play at a junior game a few years ago. Not dissimilar circumstances - a player was hurt and he was concerned. AFAIK no sanction because he stuck to his guns.

Precedent, lack of evidence and the principle of proportionality are on our side. The only court that would pass any sanction against these two is the court of public opinion led by chief merkins Rothfield and the aptly named Kent. The thing is, their opinions don't matter one iota so lawyer the fuq up and don't give an inch to the media lynch mob.
