I thought Lodge got banned for the rest of the season from Penrith JL. Didn't know that there were any updates since.

No idea what he actually did to be given a ban though. I haven't heard his name mentioned as actually abusing anyone.

Yep, as i said in the other thread, i dont blame our club for standing them down, i really dont think we had a choice. But the double standards in this code are what will ruin it.

Innocent til proven guilty or not should have no baring on whether SKD is allowed to play or train with his team until he is cleared.

I stand by my statement yesterday, why the hell did we stand these guys down, we buckled that's why.

We should have released a statement to the words of a affect 'due to conflicting evidence the fifitas will continue on as usual unless more concrete facts arise' by the sounds of things the facts presented are mis leading, hell the report from the guy this whole thing is centred around has proof that it has inaccuracies.

If we would have done that the media would have started to get over it by now, look at the flash situation, Kent and a few others whinged for a few days then they move on.

Unless Lyall has some damming evidence to suggest otherwise the boys should be reinstated straight away, we need to back our players more and show that imo

I find it hard to believe that there could be such a big bust up as reported with a ref, and no one has their phone out and recorded such an event..

But the problem is, yesterday the Penrith juniors league found them to be worthy of a 12 month ban from the league. Remember the club probably has obtained more information than the stooges at the press. When they were stood down, Lyall probably had the information there that the Penrith blokes had to make their decision. Which if its good enough for 12 months from their league, id say deserves a sit down from NRL duties.
