"Little bloke that can do length-of-the-field tries at fullback? I better throw him a short hospital pass" - Gal, 2011/12/13/14

The thing with Barba is that taking out those length of field efforts and he didn't particularly make a lot of running metres at fullback. Past 2 years, he's only averaged like 75-80 metres per game. He's been playing pretty crap there lately, barely touching the ball.

So many possibilities if barba signs, most likely scenario is that he plays 6 and gobbo for robbo is the half or you stick him at fullback and swift flash to the wing with either feki or gagen moving to the centre spot, we will most likely see Mitch brown in the 2-5 somewhere which is a shame because I think we can do better

Hope feki and gagen train and trial in the centres. Even if flash remains at fullback Holmes can still secure a wing spot

Geez matt ... You lost all that negative vibe you once had about signing a potential rogue element. Is it due to the rough trot we have had cos I'm now of the opinion we can only go up. :)

Still got my worries. But now that it looks it's actually happening, can't help but get a bit pumped. I'm slowly starting to see that the positives are outweighing the negatives here.

Yep, agree with everything you say here.

Our forward pack really looks strong as heck with Ennis at hooker, we could have a pack like: 8) A. Fifita, 9) Ennis, 10) Gallen, 11) Lewis, 12) Graham, 13) Heighington, 14) Tupou, 15) Bukuya, 16) Arona, 17) F. Brown or another prop or something. With the backline pieces starting to come together assuming we pick the right team, injuries permitting of course, there are definitely things to look forward positively next season.

If Barba signs, from a playing perspective, things look too positive. Therefore, a scandal is due to breakout soon.

Barba would be a great addition. Sign him up ASAP. Everyone knows our attack has no spark. With Barba, Holmes, Feki, Gordon, Brown things may start to change in that regard.

Word going round Matty Srama is unwated by the titans. The bloke is a work a holic. I know ennis is likely to play 80 but 23yo is it worth showing interest in this kid?

I've had big raps on him since he came into grade - a couple of bad injuries the last few years hadn't helped him - but he's always looked to have a good attitude.

Would hope that we at least make him an offer.

Gumby beat you do it.

I don't think we need him.

Jeesh, the Titans be cray-cray to tap Srama on the shoulder. Just Falloon and a part-timer in Carter, yeah, seems pretty bland for hooker options for them in 2015, especially if Mortimer stays Halfback.

I can't really think of any teams needing a hooker or reserve at the moment. Maybe Brisbane in case McCullough gets injured again? Or the Bulldogs perhaps?

Yes, Barba is just what we need. Another great attacking player with no (attacking) support players, and no defense whatsoever, not to mention a coach that cant even spell attack.
Why dont we pay 2 million for him...

Seriously, what the **** is wrong with ppl here. Yes, we need talent, but we also need to be serious about it. This guy comes with a huge pricetag, and offers close to nothing for the sharks :|

So you're saying that we need more attacking support players, we can sign him as one of those then.
