Gotta give it to Trent Robsinson, when asked if the roosters went to sleep he basically said no, the sharks just kicked it up notch.

Good to see a coach admitting defeat rather than excuses and blame.
Yeah he did praise us in the post match. The reporters even baited him about the last no try, and he said it was the right decision.

thats a professional coach. Not letting the feeling of defeat cloud your judgement in how to address the media (ricky, toovey).

Imagine Ricky if he was on the end of the last no try call haha. Hed be ****ing fuming. It was a clear no try. And as per the rules of the game, ref called no try, and the video didnt show the ball touching the ground. IMO all tries should be called held up if a player finishes ON HIS BACK, if he is face down, the ref calls it try.

Im surprised that the Roosters werent called for the pathetic play the ball on tackle 4 in that set too, although we might have been penalised for it

Two wins in a row. You could almost say we're bubbling along nicely.

I'll get me coat.

Another great comeback win for the sharkies.

How good was that to watch, defense leaked a few points but our guts and determination was on show last night.

After everything the players and fans have been through, it doesn't get any better than this.

The Guys showed pride and passion, well done.

Hey Gents, haven't read back so this has probably already been said ten fold but that would have to be right up there with the clubs best win of all time & I am not even factoring in the comeback in that statement.

Based purely on the personnel unavailable, young guys still finding their way in FG & the week from hell which us now normal for the Sharks.

So proud of the effort, showed heaps of ticker.

I couldn't believe we won this.

I was out at an annual dinner for my theatre group and wasn't able to watch it. But I followed it on my phone when I could and again like last week I almost switched the phone off at 24-0.

But being the fan I am I couldn't do that and kept sneaking peeks in between the main meal and dessert. At 24-12 I knew I had to keep with it and much to the annoyance of my wife who thought I was being very rude, I reported scores to a close mate of mine at the same table who is also a huge Sharks fan. When it got to 28-24, I leant across the table and let my mate know the score and we both quietly excused ourselves and walked over to the side of the room to follow the last five minutes on the NRL chat.

We both erupted as Robson went over and then cowered like scared kittens during the last minute and that "held up" try.
We returned to the table grinning like Cheshire cats the minute the game was over. The victory was a bit sweeter for my mate as his ex-wife was at the dinner and she is a Roosters fan! Ha! :p

Great win to the boys! I've watched the highlights and will watch the replay, probably second half only, later today.
Makes next week's game against the Knights better to look forward to and dare we dream to lift ourselves off the bottom and be out of contention for the spoon. Long way to go before we can say that though.

After rewatching the game this morning, this one is truly a special win. To be down 24-0 to the premiers and come back and win this. It shows the heart in this club.

Acid test next game at home v knights I'd expect we may be favorites. Win that by a point or by 50 don't care then I'm convinced we have turned the ship around from the icebergs . Would love a assistant coach announcement this week...BK would give us even more posative press. So happy 4 the joint

Ha great post, I likewise had no kids and was with wifey begrudgingly watching jersey boys movie, at 24 zip thought great call then wacko.
Sidenote- jersey boys movie was seriously good, Clint Eastwood can knock up a great movie.

Ok guys question, in your opinion has Shepard earned the reigns for the rest of the season?

I'm happy that someones jumped in and filled the void and I'm glad it was Shepard.

But that game last night was won by the 17 who played, they did that for themselves.
