Now you call it a year. You turn up to finance the club and socialise, but we won't be playing after September. First spoon incoming in 45 years. Wow.

Does anyone have the list of our complete first grade squad? The website has 37 players listed which isn't right.

So i think its pretty obvious to even the biggest sharks tragics that our year is now done and dusted, as least as far as finals goes.
The question is what do you do for the rest of it to start preparing for next year.

I would bring up Holmes, noone else (who'd be worth buying) is coming here this year.
Perhaps offer Lichaa to the dogs for the rest of this year, though not sure if that frees up an additional space if required or not
Bring Holmes and Penani in, it cant hurt us now.
Id drop IDG, Robbo to share duties with Morris, and Penani in with Carney/Lewis/Holdsworth etc.,
Flash in the backline somewhere replacing one of the dunces we have, along with Feki, Leutele, and the other dunce, as it seems Beau will be out for the year or close to.
Rotate the forwards a little bit, give D.Fifita, Mexico, Arona, Sopoaga, whomever a taste of FG, and start on some serious planning for next year.

In saying all that, with our current "coaching/tactical" setup, we could just be ruining otherwise potentially talented players by having them get smashed each week and their confidence destroyed.

tbh, I dont know what we should do, but im sure ****en sick of what were doing at the moment. :(

Anyone still need convincing?

What really pisses me off is the length of contract we give to guys like Ayshford and Jono. FMD we must be the laughing stock of the comp. Any other clubs have players they don't want? Send out a little whiff to the Sharks, they'll take them off your hands.

Ayshford didn't do as badly last night. I'd still like to see him get some decent ball. We are too slow and flat footed. Not entirely his fault.

They shouldn't be allowed to call it a year.

They should be forced into high intensity training over the finals series too. If you're not going to play finals football, you can train and it's not going to be pleasant.

For anyone that thinks we are going to make the finals you are living in fantasyland. The season is gone. I reckon that even if Todd played last night, we wouldn't have been able to score.
I thought it was funny all the wags around me screaming for penalties - it didn't matter how many penalties we got or how many sets of six we had on their line, we were not going to score. An Under 15s side could have defended against us last night. Taga made one decent run and got tackled by a four foot eleven fullback. No one supporting him at all.

It was rubbish last night and it was like watching a comedy show. Except we weren't laughing. I think Everton and I were paying more attention to our text messages and forum comments than actually watching the game.

I used to think Robson was OK. With TC, he could help steer us around and win games. Now, he is just cannon fodder. And Holdsworth is just as bad.
I can't go on....

I hate Ayshford with a passion but apart from his fall on his ass he was solid last night and looked keen.

He took some strong runs and nearly poked himself through the line on numerous occassions. Holdsworthless gave him some decent ball.

I'd roll with this lineup;

1. Gardner
2. Gordon
3. Ayshford
4. Feki
5. Stapleton
6. Manumaelaeli
7. Robson
8. Tagataese
9. Morris
10. Gibbs
11. Tupou
12. Graham
13. Heighington
--------------------------------
14. Arona
15. D. Fifita
16. Mexico
17. Lichaa
