To slam someones head you really need to grab hold of it. This did not occur. It's not Tupou's fault that the guy had a spring loaded neck and his head bobed about like a jack in the box.

Case dismissed.

Memo to Sharpie: Remember without Carney, Forwards run straight, get to opp 30m line by tackle 5, "Bomb bomb" opposition rookie fullback, Rinse and Repeat!

Youre forgetting who will do the kicking.

Robson rarely makes a good kick.

There was a grubber to score last night and one nice cross field kick (which the opposition caught anyway) and nothing else really.

If we arent cool with playing penani/dj we move morris and bring lichaa in with degois.

I thought in the penrith game morris wasnt bad given the adlib nature of his move to the halves.

i dont see the point of lewis at 5/8 last night

for the life of mei dont remember him doing 1 kick? would have been better off in the pack and a penani/holdsworth or even morris in the halves

lets not forget, holdsworth looked useless when he played halfback with wade, and todd tried to do to much when they played together

i honestly reckon we should have had one of those 2 on the field last night, just another notch to sharpes belt of crap

Yep i hate when we play a makeshift half it doesn't work. They don't have the skills to play there no kicking game and no ballplaying ability

It only works when the other half is dominant, like a JT, DCE, Cronk and has basic skills that every half should have, you know, like being able to kick a footy.

agreed, and it was clear as day that we were looking to use lewis as an extra battering ram, and robbo was our only source of creativity, which is a very shallow pool to be diving into

imo, penani should have had the shot again, just for a bit of adlib footy

but you know sharpy, he will be flabbergasted we scored 24 points and wont change a ****ing thing

As our old astute judge from qld said last year we just seriously do not have a plan B so until such
time.. we are just moving the same old deck chairs around...

If Wade's try was allowed we score 30 points. For once it wasn't the attack that lets us down its getting better we are starting to score points when we have to, its not pretty but its becoming effective. Same as against Penrith it's been a long time since we have gone try for try with a side.

Defence, ball control in our half and diffusing kicks. We get those three thing right last night and we win that game.

Defence is attitude and the sides is poor atm. Ball control in our end is attitude again, being willing to take a hit. Kicks well Flash has the yipps badly has to be punted to the wing or it will keep happening.

I'd argue some of the edge defence is atrocious, not just poor.

Either or, its attitude. The players can fix it and turn it around in a week. Its not that hard. They have to want to though. They fix the defence and keep moving the ball like they have the last few weeks we can string wins together.

Winning the comp won't happen but making the 8 is not completely out of the question if they want it.

Those tries to TOnga and Hayne happen to everyone, no matter what, it happens.

Im more worried about the goal line. Radradra, Hopper, Sio, Sandow all went over in that 10 meters. And ALL were at the hands of our 1-5. we used to pride our selves on that defending the line. Now we are leaking 30 points a game from it? Thats not on. Ryan rushing up on the biggest winger in the game? What a dope.

We also have to think if Gordon doesn't slip thats no try, if Ayshford takes the tackle thats no try to the eels and maybe we score later in that set, if Wade holds on and we score the momentum doesn't shift back to parra.

We really could of won that game or at least made it a closer one.

doesnt slip? Or doesnt dive? Gordons attempt on that sandow kick was terrible, granted the bounce favoured sandow, I thought it was a poor attempt
