There isn't a chance in hell anyone would approach Benji with the thought of playing him at centre or fullback.

I'd take Benji IF we were a decent half away from a serious shot at winning a premiership. Unfortunately our issues run much deeper than that, so it's big fat no from me.

long term planning does always need to be in the back of the minds of management, however we cant start a 5 year plan every year. At some point we need to reach year 5. The reality is in my head next year is year 4 and the year after is year 5.

Yes. If you don't think benji is an upgrade on Robson you are off you're head. Carny/Marshal halves Robson to hooker.

It's not about Benji being an upgrade on Robbo, of course he is. It's about how much he'd cost and could we put the money to better use elsewhere.

i think benji could become a very crafty part of a plan
those who dont think brown is ready, or know his current position yet, he could learn from marshall/carney/robson, whilst also training at hooker
i would also be happy to chuck robson on the bench as our utility and hope we retain lichaa or sign the rabbits hooker
next year will be robsons last year, so brown plays a year of nsw cup, fills in for injuries, then takes the bench spot

Like we have the last 5 years? What great backs have we purchased? Gordon and Ryan? If we are going to waste signings it may as well be on a half that can win us a few games

None, and that's part of the problem. If we have to pay overs for some backs then I'd like to have the money available to do that.
Benji is past his best, that was obvious over his last 18 months in the NRL. Maybe there was more to it, who knows.
