Based on performance and injuries that game was my gf - any progression beyond here is a bonus. If the boys pull up I do think on our day we can win it. It all comes down to Carney and Stewart I think.

I feel similar to you. Winning a finals game, celebrating the win afterwards. I know you can't compare it to a grand final victory but the atmosphere that was created from Sharks fans yesterday was amazing.

Honestly can't see us winning against that Manly team without Carney.

Get where you are coming from, and i know we aren't the Storm, but i've been to two finals games down here in recent years, where Manly have stumbled badly and been well beaten and bundled meekly out in the Semis.

Dead set have some common sense it's gotta be Chad.

We can still win without Carney. We just beat one of the hottest teams in the finals without him.

If this was an origin game who would you want in the 6. Wade Graham or Chad Townsend ?

Can the peaches kick at all?

The kicking game will be the most important aspect of this game.

I'd be bring in Stapo for Feki
What are you mad? Why? Because he dropped 1 ball, but was awesome the rest of the game. Feki is very important when it comes to working it back off our goal line too. He often makes big metres there because he's lightning from a standing start. He'll have learnt from that first game and be very good next week imo.

Agreed. We did very well against Manly at Brookvale early in the season and we had Chad and Mills in that game.

Has to be Chad simply because we have an awful kicking game without Carney. On his day Chads kicking game is very good.

Yep, im for chad also and he's had a run only 2 wks ago so will be as ready as we can hope for. Id be happy to see peach in for deg-wah also, give us some extra pep and attacking options. Also if chads looking out of sorts we can put peach in 5/8 or second row and have lewy or wade move to 5/8.
Its all about having more options to cover any eventualities

what sort of question is that... Where are you trying to go with a question like that

It will be an origin type game.

It will be played at night and a tough forward battle.

I prefer a bigger # 6 in this type of game. Wade is a big game player who would relish the extra workload.

No problems with Chad replacing Robbo if he was injured, however against this opposition on this occasion I would go with Wade @ # 6 .

Just personal opinion.

I like the Peachey suggestions. If we lose both carney and Fifita, then we lose most of our capacity to attack. It will be an arm wrestle and could be not much in it with 10 to go. A player like Peachey can thrive in that environment.

If Fifita is not available, Gallen should play prop. Bukuya would start, and the bench would be Degois/Toupou/Heino/Peachey. Heino seemed injured last night and only played 29 minutes. If there are any question marks about him, we should bring Gibbs to the bench.

If our forwards muscle up then anything is possible. Its not just about the half back.

Again, same as alot of others, while a loss is always a bummer, if we can win another game id be stoked, but if we lose, going through to the 2nd round is a good result, its a positive ending really for a ****ty year. I just hate that even our cowboys victory will have an * next to it

some of the trys yesterday were instigated by our other back line players especially flash and beau. Those two really stepped it up.. Even with out toddy I think we still have a huge chance, I don't think he did all that much yesterday tbh, chad or graham would play a similar game to that

At the open training session last week
C.Townsend was training with the squard so with T.Carney not 100%
It must already be Flannos game plan to use C.Townsend.

I'd be putting Wade or Lewie at 6 if Todd is out. It's a finals game and we need experienced players and strong ones.
