Yep, exactly how I saw it. If Carney played we win, simple as that. We need to sort this out though, can't keep relying on Carney to be our sole source of creativity if we want to go all the way.

Take DCE from Manly, Adam Reynolds from Souths, Cronk from Melbourne and they all loose a massive peice of the puzzle and the cannot win a GF without these players.

I almost said Pearce from the Rooters, but then the bile rose in the back of my throat and I deleted it.

True but they still have players that can create something. Manly have Foran, Lyon and Snake. Souths have Sutton and Inglis. We have Carney and.....................no one.

Yep, as I said earlier they were ripe for the picking. They were clearly out on their feet for the last 25 minutes. That's my point, we have a bit of polish and we win that game.

What we needed is another halfback that can kick. Even Rolf Harris with an extra leg could have done a better job.

It was probably a tactic to keep the ball in play. But not one long kick found the ground and gave our defense time to move up.

A couple of months ago I would of bagged any person who thought Luke Walsh was worth pursuing. I've probably changed my mind a little bit. But it just shows you the value of a decent kicking game.

Just watching the replay now. How was Morris not sent off? That was a professional foul IMO. I think Paul Gallen does a good job at intimidating refs, our penalty count speaks for itself.
