I have been guilty in the past of losing it completely at the games and using language that was pretty obnoxious.
That was in my youth and I look back at this times with some regret, and a fair amount of shame regarding my behaviour
All those years ago. When you get older you start to realise that.... I'm glad I don't behave like that theses days.

Been there.

I remember growing up on the old southern hill at Shark Park with the old blokes yelling out "chewy on ya boot" Is that bad crowd behavior?

I agree with the majority of this thread. I just don't think that kids should be taken anywhere other than the family hill or seated areas. Behind the goal posts is one of the best places to watch. Banning swearing at the footy will never happen. What i saw on Monday night was unnacceptable.

No but i like the northern hemisphere Rugby Union method. They go dead silent when a kicker is lining up to get in their head. Kickers are used to being yelled that sort of stuff and thrive off it. I reckon calls of SHHHH SHHHHH SHHHHH and silence will get in their head more.

and then you need one designated person to give him the old "JACKASS" just as he goes to kick it

Nothing compared to being on "the hill" at the old Lang park for an origin game ..... Anyone else who was lucky enough to have that experience will know what I'm talking about ...

He'd hate being the person who has to sit behind me in the PB, I'm forever jumping up and down! High fives to anyone in reach haha.
