I'm talking in general MB not just last nights game. Plus degois plays alot more minutes, hes made some cracking tackles this year when we have needed it. Stats are an input but not the be all and end all. When Morris was on the Sharks had momentum and were on the attack so the whole team had less defense to do. Can you pull the stats for all players, I would think there were missed tackles from quite a few players...

Why did you include it in a dot point in your notes on last night then?

I didn't feel the need evidently

The way I worded it "out shining" suggets past tense and over a period of time.

If I was specific to last night I would have said "out shined" .

Anyways not a big deal, crap game

- Poor game plan which even that wasn't executed. Why did we abandon repeat sets into in goal for wild passes and useless bombs?
- Some horrible reads in defense
- Woeful kicking game from both halves
- Gallen back to his bad over controlling ways
- Missed Toops
- Miss Poms, we are not the same side for some reason without him
- Morris out shining Degois in attack but not D

If ever a game highlighted the difference a quality and quick back line makes to a team this was it. Our backs our honest toilers but no real pace or elusiveness.

Really disappointing last night, hurt to lose to the freaken Knights. Would love to have ended their season.

Snowden stepped up against us again and outshone our resident pillow Fafita

Why are some of your points on last night and some magically 'in general', what a joke, you are such a time waster with your stupid garbage. If you're ever proven wrong you'll just make some bull**** up every time.

Simply guys look at the ladder and the For column. We've only scored more points than Penrith & Dragons, our attack needs a overhaul in the final few rounds.

Gards back in at fullback, Wright replaces Stapo and Mills in for Willams when fit. Townsend in for Robbo

wright is even less threatening then stapo. Hotdog has been finding form and is a better winger then mills.

Our wingers should be Hotdog & Mills as first choice. Wright a last resort on the wing.

Haven't been here due to the all the wrist cutting that would begoing on.
How on earth did we lose by that margin? Defence was terrible! On the edges and up the guts. Good to see Gallen back. He gave us SOME go forward but I dunno. We offered Not a lot in terms of attack.

Is Graham injured again?

It's pretty depressing going from a top 4 side to almost falling out of the 8 when it counts the most. This is the cronulla I remember!!
If we dont make the finals this year *makes idle threats*

I heard a bit of an interview with Mullen.
He said we have a strong back 3.

I laughed so hard you have no idea.

Then I realised he wasnt joking.
And laughed some more.

Last nites game was embarrassing. Kicking game was pathetic. Gal needs to not try & win the game every bloody hitup. Our backs in 1, 2 & 5 were useless. Overall if that's all we have, its time to look at 2013.

So your happy with that performance and our prformance against bottom 8 teams over the past 6 weeks (warriors notwithstanding ?)

Think about this .

Our team was playing for a top 4 position tonight - who would have thought......

I reckon Smith & Wade are the only guys who actually want to play through the finals with all their heart. Everyone else is looking forward to a rest from September onwards, hey it's part of the appeal of playing for this club. No hard fought finals games and a short season.

what happens if we don't make the eight this year with the run home that could easily happen do we stick with flanno after we just re-signed him or do we get another coach if there is any

We stick with him, get a grip.

I think (or hope) that we won't be so lethargic at home. Sometimes you just don't turn up for some unknown reason. I hope last night was just an anomaly. :hoping

Unfortunately not turning up is becoming the norm instead of the exception. I mean the team look interested maybe once a month?

I don't why everyone is bagging Gal for getting to involved in attack.

If he was playing first receiver from the first set, then fair enough.

I thought he only really became involved excessively half way through the 2nd half when it was pretty obvious that Carney and Robson werent gonna do anything.

I made the comment when it was 18 - 0 that the only way we gonna score was through Gallen or J Smith.

Yea but we started to get momentum in that last 20 mins and Carney was starting to run it more. Should have left in alone and give Robbo, Morris & Carney the chance. They have orchestrated a come back against the warriors, what does that do to their already fledgling confidence when their captain and pretty much a prop thinks he can outplay them?

I'm not sure why everyone is talking so much about one out running? The biggest things we did wrong in attack were:

- Going sideways before going forward.
- Not completing sets.
- Hardly any effective clearing kicks.
- Very very slow play the balls.

If anything, we should have been laying a better platform with our hit ups. I like forwards running in numbers and yes some tip on plays would have been better last night, but if anything the Sharks tried to spread it too much when they hadn't earned the right.

Neither of our starting props earned more than 50 metres in attack. That probably paints the best picture.

Thanks for in depth analysis black kettle. Do you think that people are complaining about the one out running because Newcastle were rushing there defenders at that poor sole with nobody in support? Do you think maybe running in pairs and tipping the ball on might have helped that coach? What about a second man play? Do you know what that is coach black kettle? Google it. I'll be sure to pass that onto Flano for next weeks game.
