I'm not sure why everyone is talking so much about one out running? The biggest things we did wrong in attack were:
- Going sideways before going forward.
- Not completing sets.
- Hardly any effective clearing kicks.
- Very very slow play the balls.
If anything, we should have been laying a better platform with our hit ups. I like forwards running in numbers and yes some tip on plays would have been better last night, but if anything the Sharks tried to spread it too much when they hadn't earned the right.
Neither of our starting props earned more than 50 metres in attack. That probably paints the best picture.
I don't think it's wrist slitting time yet ... we are a sneaky chance at home against the Rabbits if we address a few things & lift our intensity (Souths have shown a few chinks in their game, even given GI will be back).
But if Flanno is "not too concerned" ... then that is a problem right there.
Newcastle were allowed to lay all over our players, but we didn't do ourselves any favours.
It's ok for Flanno to not be concerned. Why be concerned over something you know can be addressed? I'd be concerned if he didn't fair fetch it up the boys after the game but i'm thankful that he remained positive in front of the media. Or would you prefer he be death riding us publicly?
sorry bro, i was out our leagues club putting money behind the bar and bistro to help the club out. not sitting at home alone like a wanker.
STAPO!
Without looking at the stats I think you'd find Morris has played more minutes, especially recentlyI'm talking in general MB not just last nights game. Plus degois plays alot more minutes, hes made some cracking tackles this year when we have needed it
yep atleast we would of won something. Need the pom out there throwing them korn styleI just wish Smith threw some punches...
