i would love us to sign him, but only if he is prepared to take a big pay cut to play for us.
apparently he is on 600k at panthers, i think he is wirth more like 400k

I would be more than happy to give him 600k at most on an incentive based contract. Origin gets him bonuses etc.

The people at the club will know what we have to spend though factoring in re signings etc.

I'll be ****ed if he's worth any more than 300g! An amount I'd sooner pay to Mattai!

wgaf how much we pay - now we have flash jennings will fit in beautifully...

Exactly. Who cares? With the amount of players we have coming off contract and the rise in salary cap, we should definitely make him an offer. However, we should also extend Graham at the same time.

Hmm I would use the money on retaining the reset of squad, over getting Jennings . Loyalty to the people who have been here and performancing.

Exactly. We sign some backs we let some go. We can let toops go to free up room. Friz is leaving. Ak gone. We will have the cash to retain who we want to keep as well as recruit

We pay 400k for Ross [His last contract] and 400k for Toups, Jennings is worth that and some.

just because we have made mistakes in the past doesnt mean we should continue to make them.
imo jennings is a class player but doesnt look interested at club level, he only shows his worth at the representative level.
would be the best outside back we have but i have doubts on him

Would be stoked to get Jennings but I would also be concerned about the dollars it would cost to get him

I say we offer Jennings 500k a season but 600k if he agrees to live out the back in Gallen's granny flat, there'd be no troubles with him turning up for training on time then

On Telecrap Site,
Gus in $700,000 pickle

MICHAEL Jennings is on an unbelievable $700,000-a-year if he stays at the Panthers next season. This is why Phillip Ronald Gould is shopping him around to rival clubs and even offering to contribute $200,000 to a club prepared to take him. For all his attitude problems, Jennings is a good buy at $500,000. He needs a change of club and new environment as much as anything.
