I was told on the weekend that Cronulla NSW cup is now playing in cabra colours and also playing and training there .Can somebody find out if this is true please ?
The Reggies didn't play many games before 1st grade anyway. I hope it works out. We tried this with Newtown some years ago and that didn't work out.
What,j no more Sharks in NSW Cup?
I understand the reasoning behind this to an extent. However, I see this sort of thing as really distructive to local community ownership of a team. I think it waters down the tie of a team to a region.
I love watching players come up through the ranks from juniors through to first grade and watch them grow and develop as players and people along the way.
I hate the way League is going. It's losing contact with itself.
What great value it could be $25.00 for a reserved seat to watch presidents cup reserve grade and 1st grade. A full days entertainment it also gives the lower grades a boost by playing in front of a larger crowd. mmmmm the good old days
Chad,
Mate, I'm with you. I get a bit teary when I think about how good going to the footy used to be. At least it was believable then - now it's a farce.
I guess we're a soon to be extinct breed us old dinosaurs like you and I... you know - old buggers who actually love the game and love our Sharkies... love our local juniors and love our community.
how about a sub group called sharks forever old foggies. we could sit and talk about "when i was a boy"
