Where does Morris sit in next coaches to get a shot ?

Flanno is an obvious choice if someone wants to take a chance on him.
Ciraldo seems next big thing after Fitz

Is Siebold, Mary and Pay ahead of him ?

Furner, Cartwright ?

There's a decent list of ex head coaches who are likely to only be AC's.

I'm not sure Siebold, Mary or Pay will see an NRL headcoach gig anytime soon, think they will be looking overseas or fairly lengthy stints as ACs
Probably at this stage looking like Furner and Cartwight won't get another head coach gig unless they came up as an interim coach and held the job.

If Bomber can get going with another AC stint (like as suggested at Rabbitohs) I could definitely see him being preferred to most of these guys for a new role.
At the end of the day as far as I can see (and know I can't see all) the reasons to get rid of him seem pretty flimsy, I think board just saw Fitz as too good to miss out on.

Are you employed Bort ?

You making an offer?

I am, but often get stuck at computer a lot and don't mind slapping refresh every now and again on SF between tasks.
Looks like I made it just over an hour this time.

Just that you can type quickly (as you posts have many paragraphs ) and are adept at the Queens English unlike myself .

Can’t see a big club taking a risk with him.

Maybe Tigers Cowboys Knights Warriors etc whenever they are up next in the coaching go round

Yeah Siebold, Mary, Pay, Furner and Cartwright are all done, won't be head coaches again.

Will be interesting to see if Flanno gets another gig. Obviously has some history with doing the wrong thing and has been out of the game for a while now*, and we all know how much the game has changed a heap.

*I mean as a head coach, not counting his time as AC at Saints.

I may be wrong but I always thought Flanno was more a man manager than a coach and just had other guys there to do the hard stuff. If this was the case and he found good guys who'd work with him, I reckon he'd adapt to the new rules.

I won't pretend autocorrect doesn't save me at times, although it does miss some mistakes like when I nearly told HB I am actually pretty busty atm just now...

Think Knights will be next in the merry-go-round early next year followed by Maguire later in the year.

Glad he was offered it, and glad he took it. Will be a great experience without to much pressure. Bound to set him up for a head coach gig in the future
