Andrew Johns has a point but it begs the question - why did they pick him for Game 1 if this was their concern???

Ironically for all the "he's not a half back" crowd, it was probably his best game at being a half back. He controlled things, kicked to corners and pretty much kicked the ball to perfect spots in attack.

Only scored 90 supercoach points last night, must have had a bad game.

Nah man his kicking game last night screams bad game management to me, when you have the opposition fighting to get out of their own half most of the game it's just pathetic if you ask me

I like how they keep pointing to the Cows finals game as proof Nicho doesn't stand up in big games. Shows they believe the narrative more then reality.

Those numbers are Tiger'ed though... You've got to run those stats through the Tiger-2-first grade conversion matrix to get a proper NRL standard equivelant

Happy to support that he wasn't that terrible with the ball, but you can't invoke SC as a way of showing if a player was good.
