BB ran close to 100 metres rather than close to 50 metres. Hopefully it’s not a one off, because that’s what we need from him

honestly dont think he did that much different, just took advantage of the forwards making some good runs. the out ball for nikora was off ueles trampling of keary and the try he scored was off a good dominant run and fast play the ball

Ha, true enough, but also to be fair at least he was enthusiastically backing the play. Also felt like he had more intent in general from dummy half, got us a penalty or 2. Thought it was his best game for us in a long time even before the try.

And to be as fair, he played the same game as he has been. It was just that it all came up smelling Brailey's. A good reward game for the consistent effort, a bit like the Talakai vs Harper game.

He was lively out of marker engaging their forwards. Made 45 tackles through the middle. Then still had the ticker to create space for Nicho down the short side, and back it up to score and put us ahead. Finally hit Nikora two wide to put him over to ice the game.
