Yeah a bit. Definitely the boot - it's huge but still pretty hail mary inaccurate. Absolute prospect though.

I feel bad that Flanno is associated with the Dragons
He was such a gun recruiter but at the Dragons they are such a ****ing mess it doesn't seem like he has been able to add much in the recruitment or coaching space. Maybe he has helped a bit with retention but the culture doesn't seem positive.
They are embarrassing
its nutz Flanno doesn't have a HG gig amongst so many overt hyped pleb NRL coaches but rumour he is linked to Dolphins in some capacity

Wayne hasn't been getting the calls from every player to reject his rubbish franchise. Called in Flanno to hook him up with a frickey-fresh @hotmail.com account and that'll open all sorts of channels to recruit like ICQ & MSN Messenger.
you could argue he had some pretty mixed recruitment at Sharks too though really.
Also Mooney presumably played a part as it’s his job.

Yeah he didn’t finish off too well, he admitted at one stage they didn’t really have much of a plan after 2016 and thought some of the recruits. Didn’t specify who. Mooney left 2015 I think.

I’m confused by this.. what signing did he make that was not good ? Don’t bring up the players he wasn’t able to coach because no one knows what he would have gotten out of them or his plan with them
