Think he was playing @ lock when Dale was off and McInness came on? That should be his role next year, 25-30 mins as a middle relief forward - take it or leave it but would probably mean relinquishing the captaincy or just share it with Dale whatever
Gal did this with Wade in his last season and Gal was playing limited minutes by then
Wade has lost a step of pace and the ball playing skills that were an asset and feature of his game on the left edge backrow have largely evaporated from his game.
His defense has started to go backwards lately after looking quite good throughout the season in this regard

I wouldn’t mind him as bench lock but he’s worse than two others we’ve got

So, the next best thing is that Wade gets a sniff of this sentiment and absolutely nails it this week.

Playing Wade off the bench holds back the development of someone like Colquhoun.
Wades had a good career, been paid handsomely for it too, but sport is a business and he no longer offers anything we can't get elsewhere.

I think I've just accepted Graham is getting a one year deal, part of me wants him to stay for the leadership and experience but as far as what he offers on field I just think we can do a whole lot better.
Even if we start Tieg next year, Graham on the bench is a waste. Is he going to float in and out like Fifita/Tolman did this year, doubt it. He'll likely still be captain after all.
I think Fitz has some made some good tough calls - Dugan, Johnson, Tolman, Fifita but think the Graham call is one he's not willing to make, maybe was hoping Graham would make it.

Graham has been bog standard for the last 3-4 years.
I was spewing before he even came back from injury that he shouldn’t just have dibs on a position indefinitely and that Wilton shouldnt just lose his position for someone that has been out of form for years.
Now basically yet another season is over and it’s still the same old……
Has been crap for 4 years now, injuries wrecked him.
