That's quite the gap between ET & the 3rd most capped Shark - thought we would have more players up in that 240+ range but I spose even 200 games is quite a number of seasons with one club

I haven't watched much Cows games (footy in general) but I seen enough to know that right edge backrower of theirs could have a night out on Wade if he's playing like an old man.

Yeah, Nanais good in the air and Chad also likes the short ball to him. Wade needs to be on his game, or Teig does.

Yes. Don't underestimate what Wade brings to the team via his excellent field leadership. I am increasingly of the view that leadership is a significant part of the reason why the Sharks have improved so dramatically this season. Having Wade and Dale Finucane, Andrew Fifita, Aiden Tolman, et al contributing has been a steady influence on the team.
I am also a big Geelong Cats fan in the AFL and they are also having a terrific season (having won something like their past 14 games in a row). Geelong excel in leadership with Joel Selwood. He settles all the young guys down and when things get tough, he steadies the ship and directs things on the field. Leadership is what Wade Graham and Joel Selwood bring to their respective teams in buckets.
I live in the USA but still follow my Aussie teams live on the computer and both have given me great joy this season. In last week's game against Newcastle, the obvious star of the game was Briton Nikora, capturing 3 tries. He is a very talented player who too often in the past made some dumb emotional errors that resulted in costly penalties. However, this year he is more disciplined and taken his game to a higher level. Fitz's coaching has clearly helped, but maybe some credit should also go to the steady intelligent leadership on the field provided by Wade and the other wise tough veterans.

Need to show the class that Fifita did and step aside and let the youth have a crack , do what's right for the future .
I expected a bit more of Wadeo after he reached match fitness this year.
He's been decent in defence but I see him as below average, which is a disappointing way to end an excellent career if that's the way he stays.
I got the vibe during the season, and it's probably just my imagination, that Fitz would have preferred Finucane as captain, but that he bowed to Wadeo's standing at the club.
On a lowly priced contract I'm happy for him to stay.
