Trindal didn't do anything wrong last week. Maybe Fitz likes the fact he can play in the middle. What does Fitzy see in Trindall that we can’t?

I thought that was weird too! 200th (sharks) game this week is it?
I'm more concerned about our performances and efforts in some of these loses more than the loss itself. It's hard to say we should have won this game or that game, the fact is we didn't and teams that were going poorly early season or last season have stepped up and that is difficult to predict if and when that happens but in our case it has coincided with our own performances going backwards or having injuries, flu, suspensions.
Winning against the Raiders or Broncos is no longer a given. Not to mention we have struggled for years against both those teams. Even the bulldogs can occasionally put up a fight and make things difficult. So I wouldn't let it bother you too much, the only one that kinda annoys we is the first round loss to Raiders which we had a really good chance to close out bar the Ramien penalty but I'm getting over it. It's an 80 min game and Ramien made a play at the time in the heat of the moment thinking its what he should do and it didn't come off right, it happens.
As for Trindall, coaches believe in the pecking order and Fitz hasn't shown himself to be an exception to that. That's why Trindall is selected. He still has some brownie points with the coach he is trading off for the time being and he went OK on Sunday.
It would be next level to pick Trindall on the basis of it being indigenous round expecting this will make him 3 times the player or something on the day. Even if it's a reward or respect for Trindall or something that would be a questionable decision.
It would be like picking Jenson for an ANZAC weekend clash just cause he's a Kiwi. It's professional sport, peformance or at least potential peformance in future should matter more than gestures or loyalties. If can't make finals then yea I can see some leeway
Same, don’t like losing but can cop a loss if it come down to the other team just being a better team, effort, resilience or to be precise, lack off, along with complacency really pee’s me off when we lose.I'm more concerned about our performances and efforts in some of these loses more than the loss itself.
Yep. Unfortunately the record will show we have loss one home game thesis season - Tragic Round. The good news is, we've been pretty good at home this season.

Obviously, all of our losses this season we haven’t been the better side but outside of the Storm, we are the better team or better squad of players than the two Raider L’s & Broncos’s L.
Imo, a major contributing factor has been elements of complacency, resilience & lack of effort @ times in the games we dropped.
That said, this weekend, whether we win or lose, I’m confident none of those factors will be an issue, we’ll be up for this game for a number of reasons, like Fitz, being that little more intense or the players thinking he is & acting accordingly, the reputation of the Roosters being a good scalp, being at home etc.
Squad wise, if everyone’s available, I think we are better but injured players & Jesse being suspended really makes this a 50/50 call & it’s who executes better on the day plus maybe gets the rub of the green will more than likely the team who gets the W.
Probably depends what role Fitzy wants the utility to play. I'm not sure we want Miller playing the role Trindall played last week, although you could argue that McInnes or Wade could play a similar role and free up Miller for a slightly different role. It‘ll be interesting to see if Miller is included or if he decides to stick with Trindall.
I reckon a lot of ticket holders don't go to the game.Less than 500 tickets remain.
I think Trindall will play for sure, not just because it’s indigenous round, more for the consistency of the squad. Robinson is the wrong coach for Miller to play his second game against too
The story of this year.showers predicted.
how unusual!!!!
Yeah it's frustratingI reckon a lot of ticket holders don't go to the game.
There has been several games where the grand stand is sold out but on game day it's only about 60% full.
Hope everyone goes this week
