Ok, it is Team List Tuesday so I thought I'd put up the thread for Saturday's game against the Chooks.

What will Fitz go with?

Will he find room for Lachie Miller in the 17 or is back to the Jets for him?

Will Sifa be named or is he going to miss this one?

And can we beat the Roosters? They are a little up and down at the moment, a bit like us I guess.

Let's hear what you think!

Roosters never use to bother us that much but in recent years we seem to get into a game with them but can't get it done.

I think this will be a cracker. Both teams are ho hum and look out of sorts form wise but like to play fast and aggressive up tempo footy. Strong players in both teams

Last year the Roosters had that comeback on us after we looked set to win. Morris was sacked after IIRC

Playing at home I think we are 50/50

Roosters have the edge though I think and prob should win. They have players in that team that I struggle to see us contain and not put some trys on us. Our attack needs to be humming cause our defense looks a lost cause at the moment.

I reckon Fitz will have them up for this one. He really won't want a low energy performance this week. Hopefully wade can go Sam walker hunting early in the game to keep him quiet. Will be glad to have Will and our attacking shape back.

I think Sifa will get named and given till game day. Miller to hold a spot and Trindall out.

I'd be very tempted
Miller could be an option there too, Fitz would have a feel for how he'd go if he had done some pre-season there (and has been playing 5/8 Cup recently which is more similar defensively than fullback is).

But yeah, Iro seems to be going great, and looks to have the size to hold up in the NRL. He is second in Cup for PCMs and second for run meters so he doesn't shirk work.
Did see this although pretty sure he did play centre not back row

KAYAL IRO

With William Kennedy and Jesse Ramien both suspended, Craig Fitzgibbon will be forced to make changes to his backline and Kayal Iro has shot into contention for an NRL debut with a blistering performance in the Sharks' win over the Bears.

Playing in the back row, Iro scored a try, grabbed three try assists, ran for 268 metres and broke the line three times in a 40-28 win.

Fitzgibbon is blessed with options at the back but Iro couldn't have done anything more to command a shot in the top grade on Sunday.

That was against the Bears who sit fourth on the ladder and had plenty of roosters in side although Kevin Naiqama and a highly rated winger had a bit of luck against our edge on that side too.

I reckon Ikuvalu comes in. Up against Manu I think that could be a tough debut.
True, but we haven't seen any indication of Ikuvalu playing centre for us I don't think. Would we swap Ronnie in and have Ikuvalu on wing?
If Iro can play right we could put him there and put Tracey on left.

I thought Ikuvala was injured?

I don’t think he’s been playing Cup and didn’t someone say he recovered from the ankle but then done his pec or something?

Yeah some kind of pec injury was mentioned (since his ankle injury) you're right. He's presumably a bit rusty to play out of position against his old club.

Surely Hiroti is ahead of Iro in the pecking order.

Issue with Iro is that he shows up on both teams’ highlights videos.

That's how I feel like too. I think the games with the "lesser" teams are the danger ones for us in terms of low energy.
