short turnarounds, long turnarounds, the only turnaround that matters right now is our form.

coming up against the Warriors has come at the perfect time although I don't know how much confidence we can take out of beating them but its something and will keep us around the top 4 and hopefully lift the boys and spur us on into the following rounds

Recent trend has that if you're an ex-Shark you score against us. Bird, then Capewell. Hope SJ doesn't follow suit and has a blinder to prove something. Another danger game. Warriors will gain confidence after today.

Freddie talked to Fitz after the game .
Said 5-6 Sharks players carried the Flu into the game .
That would explain that effort I reckon
and Talakai bent over behind the attack late in the game .
Looking forward to a hopefully a FULL Strength effort next week.
Freddie also said Brisbane chasing Moylan to play 5/8

Explains a couple of things... why energy levels were down and why Fitz wasn't going full hair dryer mode.

Doesn't really explain the miserable handling though.

I'm not sure Moylan is an much of an upgrade

new rule: any sharks players that leaves our club only allowed to play in ESL. problem solved

so my covid theory wasn't that far off the mark

interesting you are allowed to play with the flu but not covid. the flu can be pretty dangerous too and alot of people wouldn't even be vaccinated against the flu at present

There must have been concerns that these 5 or 6 players had Covid during the week (even getting daily tests).

Yeh but having flu symptoms you would still be concerned it was going to go positive at some stage.

When our son had covid I could have sworn I had it even though was testing negative in RAT tests due to flu like symptoms.

Same (Wife and then son) and eventually (about 4-5 days later) “Positive”….

I wasted 2 weeks of annual leave!
First week quarantine as “close contact”
Next week due to having Ronna!
