Few question marks over Haas for tonight. Had to get needles at half time last week for an AC issue. Would be handy if he didn't play as he was fantastic last time we played them.

yeh look i am ok with it either way

getting wade back in the 15* jersey like he had in 2012 wont be a bad thing

in fact, he and mcinnes coming off our bench with hunt and williams is a nasty bench
I don't see both Wade and McInnis on the bench.
Can honestly see Tolman dropping to bench, Finucane at prop and McInnis going to 13

Hit him hard and early on in the game and test out that shoulder!

Will be interesting what tactics we employ .
Look to send it left , THEN quickly prop and spread it back to the right catching 12 Broncos out that were heading left trying to support Staggs ;)

In my experience never more painful than straight away, if he got through that game he likely will be fine for our one.
Wish I had access to pain killing injection when I did mine haha

Never done mine so will take your word for it. I could be more to avoid a worse injury than because it is painful though right?

Manly showed in the second half you need to push up on Talakai and cut down his time and space to get a wind up and present himself options. Not that Sifa can't just run over or through you but he was less a threat in that second half though it also seemed harder to get him quality ball in the first instance.

If Brissy employ a similar tactic I hope we take advantage with some Hynes kicks over the top / in behind the line or going back on the inside with some nice passes to players on the burst

Possibly, could strap some padding over it easy enough.
It’s usually heavy shoulder contacts with ground that do it so same again is biggest risk to make it worse.

I expect if he plays you probably won’t notice it much - given what he put out afterwards last week he’s probably fine.

Bonus pay to anyone who can drive his shoulder into the ground without a lifting penalty though.

Starting the sweep from a little deeper will help but also a couple of early kicks over their right side D for Ronnie, Sifa and Kennedy to run onto to will keep them from pushing up to quickly.
Should also then allow us to play a bit more of our sweeping play options.

Maybe even bring Ramien over to that edge for a few attacking plays and let the centres link up (ET/McGaw style).

Our goal line defence needs to watch out for Corey Oates swooping from the left side of the field the run through our backrower/centre as he did last week. Apparently they run this play only once a year but we better be aware anyway.

Same, I've never bought into a certain ref being good or bad for us.
Yeah but Klein was also the ref that stuffed us against the Cowboys in that knockout semi in 2017. Hope we play well enough for it not to matter but he's never liked us. Just saying. 😊

Surely we all watch enough footy to know, every team gets rimmed by the refs. not sure we get it better or worse run than anyone else. Video ref has been nasty to us lately on field ref waves his arm the right way only to get a tip off…
Let’s play well enough the ref effects the margin not the overall result.
