Surely we all watch enough footy to know, every team gets rimmed by the refs. not sure we get it better or worse run than anyone else. Video ref has been nasty to us lately on field ref waves his arm the right way only to get a tip off…
Let’s play well enough the ref effects the margin not the overall result.
I do think some players are policed on suspicion based on reputation thou.

I still maintain on one of Talakais runs last week the way Garrick braces and puts shoulder into Talakai after he has passed ball is like a month out if you swap the two players around.
In this instance Garrick still came off second best but big man on small man it's some heinous off the ball shoulder charge

Maybe with Sifa’s last few weeks, the refs might be more inclined to swing their views in his favour a bit more. Especially now with all the good press he is getting.

The way we play we haven’t figured out what to do yet when teams rush up on us and cut down the time we play with.

I hope when that does happen ala manly second half and Melbourne we have a plan b

Maybe try kicking behind the line, may make them hesitate a bit. Mix it up.

Wade will probably play anyway. These days both our halves are usually on same side of field. Moyza's improving.
Jeez I hope he has one more week out. I can’t have him messing with that left edge tonight

Haha ..bring him back against the Warriors you reckon?
Gotta agree with you though, that left side is humming atm, he may be a spanner in the works. If he does play, bring him off the bench slowly as he won't be match fit.
They can always bring Wado in at lock when Dale has a break and have McInnes give young Brayles a break.

Start Teig, run the usual looks see how the Warriors like them.
Switch to Wade to mix things up.

If Wade is going good maybe get Teig some extra minutes on the other side.

I think Wade in the middle would probably suit more at this stage of his career. Need those line runners on the edges holding up the defence for the outside men. Could mean the infamous inside ball makes a return though if he does go the second row

Starting the sweep from a little deeper will help but also a couple of early kicks over their right side D for Ronnie, Sifa and Kennedy to run onto to will keep them from pushing up to quickly.
Should also then allow us to play a bit more of our sweeping play options.

Maybe even bring Ramien over to that edge for a few attacking plays and let the centres link up (ET/McGaw style).
I can still see it in my minds eye: Sparkles hit the line, prop and feed a sweet ball to a flying ET. Yep, a couple of those tonight would be nice.

Looks like Wade's been left out as reserve. Trindall is 18th man.
