I disagree. I thought we played the way we wanted to play. Somehow I feel like the main goal was to keep them at zero tonight.

Took us a long time to wriggle a safe distance for them, 8-0 far to long for my liking. Once we win the game after 80 min I’m happy to reflect on getting get some dumb calls really shows the resolve and mental strength in the squad… lesser teams or us last year would just roll over and throw our arms up.

I haven’t been able to watch the game in full but I’ve been glancing at the game every now and then on the big screen here at Cronulla RSL.
To keep them to zero was brilliant, great effort, I’m just pleased with that at the moment.

Just finished the game. Was a bit behind so didn’t want to ruin it, but what a performance. I can’t remember a game where the game plan was executed so perfectly. In control for the whole 80 minutes. That was an amazing watch!
I honestly think that first half was some of the best footy I’ve seen us play for a long time. Yeah we only scored two tries, but we completely dominated them in every aspect. We were full of running and they never looked like leaking points. With that wind, I was expecting to go into halftime down just because it’s so hard to play against wind like that but my god I haven’t been this excited about a sharks team since 2016. I think we are on to something big here folks…
