I'd love to hear the NRL explain why Crichton received nothing. That is seriously a disgrace.

It’s interesting that PELE is named on the bench as well, I think, judging by game time he looks to still need a lot more fitness put into him.
I realise by starting doesn’t mean he plays more minutes as he could come on as a sub & play out a game & get more minutes but wouldn’t it be good to start him when the game is as intense as it will be for the overall match? I know he’s still a baby & there is no need to rush him but I would have thought NSW Cup is overall great prep for him if we were looking to him as a potential top 17 player next season.

No way would I be playing this guy in NSW cup this week - not a chance .....

I would. He’s played very little football the past month with his suspension. A full 80 minutes (hopefully) on the edge for the Jets to get his eye in so to speak might be exactly what he needs.

He's played very little football this whole year. Didn't play any trials, played rd 6 and 7. Got suspended in rd 7 and was back last week.

So 3 games since last year. Defn needs more game time and minutes.

Fair enough - I would rather him slightly under done in NRL than over cooked with an injury or suspension in NSW cup ...

you don't get "overcooked" from playing one game of rugby league.

An injury could occur in any game or training session and is just a risk that needs to be appropriately managed.

I'd be playing both of them, they need the game time.

If they get injured, they get injured. It's the nature of the game as we all know.
