Selection wise I was a bit baffled about what Ole picked. But he’s been more than justified. Huuuuuuuge win in Paris. Tuanzebe deserves a lot of credit. Very young defender who hasn’t played for 2 years and he‘s thrown to the wolves of Mbappe, Neymar and Di Maria, he handled them very well, especially Mbappe. Telles is going to be an absolute weapon. De Gea probably had his best game in years.

I fancy Utd this year, on the rise in my view. Thought you were building towards the end of last season and that the media were too quick to jump on your backs after a poor start this year. CB is the area of weakness for sure and a winger, but particularly CB. So if Tuanzebe continues to play well and develops, that’s a big plus for Utd

Tuanzebe, like Bailly, needs to be able to stay on the park, it’s not a good sign that a player as young as Axel has had as many serious injuries as he has. If that’s actually behind him then yeah, he might just be what United need. A pacey CB.

Credit where it’s due. Fabinho had a decent go at CB. Don’t know if he’s your option long term until VVD comes back, but worth looking at again if I’m you.

Fabinho is a beast, we are also well covered in midfield so gives more game time to others

Yeh i think we will go with Matip and Gomez with a midfield of Hendo Fab and Thiago which gives us a lot of protection and can go to a back 3.

****ing towelled them up. A win in Paris, a thumping at home of Leipzig. Top of the group of death, two matches against the Turkish team to come. United are in the box seat here, if they don’t bottle the Turkish games, they’re through.

our plan B's are always something else

no one couldve predicted he'd hit the floor running like this
he was nowhere near this quality at wolves imo but now wowwwwww he's legit amazing
it's either the pool style that suits him better or coaching ( maybe both ) .
firmino might have to start watching his back cause jota is getting hard not to pick
great problem for you guys to have though.
