no one couldve predicted he'd hit the floor running like this
he was nowhere near this quality at wolves imo but now wowwwwww he's legit amazing
it's either the pool style that suits him better or coaching ( maybe both ) .
firmino might have to start watching his back cause jota is getting hard not to pick
great problem for you guys to have though.

Its almost like our Mo Salah chat but yeh

I didnt really want him, I wanted Sarr

Ordered a Jota jersey this morning

Haha look at the players we have signed under Klopp/Edwards, none of them have come from really big clubs.

Allison - Roma
TAA- academy
Gomez- Charlton (not sure this was Klopp?)
VVD- Southampton free
Robertson- Hull

Wijnaldum- Newcastle
Keita- Leipzig
Thiago- Bayern (the exception, but he has barely played yet)
Jones - academy
Shaqiri - Stoke
Chamberlain (Arsenal... do I count them these days? Lol)
Fabinho- Monaco

Salah- Roma
Mane- Southampton
Firmino- Hoffenheim (think he was before Klopp)
Jota- Wolves

None of these players were signed from really big clubs with the exception of Thiago and to a certain extent, Ox. Klopp is an incredibly gifted coach, he along with Edwards knows how to sign players that are perfect for our system and is able to develop them no end.

Heck if we signed Sarr, he would probably be doing really well too. I think if most (not all) of these players went to other clubs they wouldn’t be as good as they are now.

Meant to say Matip was free from Schalke not VVD. But 70mil for him seems a bargain now too.

Why no edit function in this thread?

Gomez and Bobby are BR signings but Klopp has taken them to new levels

Also Karius signed from Mainz, Grujic from Belgrade, Klavan from Ausburg ect

Klopp has never signed from the top, he got Lewa from Poland ffs

I think Aubamayang was at Milan but cost him less than a million dollars

Haha. Seriously though, if they get thrashed by Everton, I think the pressure might become too much for Woodward and The Glazers and they’ll make a move. So they can begin this endless ****ing cycle again with Poch (not my first choice for the job). The same three cycle will continue to happen until The Glazers are gone.

Who is your first choice?

My first choice might be an odd one considering Ole dusted him 5-0 not too long ago and is probably out of reach anyway as RB Leipzig probably won’t let him go. Julian Nagelsmann. But it will be pointless, no matter who they put in they’ll go through the same potential career killing cycle that Ole is going through now, Jose went though it, Van Gaal went through it. Nothing will change as long as The Glazers and Woodward call the shots.

so a loss tomorrow and you are possibly in the europa league, and to make it worse no racist or martial in the squad

If they go into the Europa league it will be because of that Istanbul result. United had the group of death but they made the best of it until that Istanbul game. A win and a loss against last years finalists is not terrible but it really should of been two wins. Belted last years semi finalists at Old Trafford but is now a different prospect in Germany. The big glaring elephant in the room is Istanbul.

I’ll ignore the racism remark because I know your just looking to get into an argument with me for some reason and I really can’t be ****ed today. Go get your fill on Twitter I’m sure you can find some willing rumble partners there.

Utd with it all to do, 2-0 down at the break.

Can they do it?

Drama in the PSG game too, with both sides walking off after 4th official made an Edison Cavani type racist remark to one of the other teams coach’ Demba Ba.

If United go on to lose this people will blame Mino Raniola for his comments about Pogba yesterday. Mino didn’t force Ole to play a back 5. Mino didn’t stop AWB and Telles from marking the back post, which in a back 5 is absolutely maddening. Ole should of put the diamond out there that put 5 past them at Old Trafford with Donny and Pogba as the box to box in front of Matic. He’s brought Donny on at half time and already looks lively but I would of brought him on for Shaw, not Telles, I think Telles offers more going forward and as they’re chasing the game, you probably need it.

Good on both teams for making a stand there in the other game. Italian clubs, take note.

United got what they deserved for starting with the back 5 in this game and losing in Istanbul. Not even mad, was expecting this when I saw the team sheet.
