Actually works in his favour that Penrith didn't win. He never wanted Ivan back

True but you could clearly see who he was rooting for. Also, I’m sure he would’ve still taken some of the credit had they won

Cam Smith had a good game (as usual) but I'm actually impressed they didn't go with the political decision and give him the CC. Pappa was my second pick at the end of the 80 mins but I was still fairly surprised to see them call his name out and not Captain Cam but a deserved winner

As for Penrith, well they had a fantastic season and tried hard tonight and didn't give up but beating the Storm in a grand final is a different kettle of fish to winning a minor premiership and going on a winning streak. it takes a special team to pull off a GF win over the storm :))2016:)) and the panthers are just not at that level yet and might never be

To think - Ricky loots could have scored another premiership ring if he was played tonight

Highlight of the night was Bellamy kicking that chair in the coaches box into the next suburb, fkn LOL. that **** wudda made ricky stuart blush

12 or 24 months after our win, they found the footage of Flanno during the last couple minutes of the game.

I hope they don't wait as long to release footage of Bellamy

I often wondered what Bellamy did when he ran behind the wall. Now we know he probably destroyed furniture. What a tosser.

The guys a legend.

With some of the squads we’ve had, if we had a coach like him we have multiple premierships

Think it was less than that. Recall seeing it not long after.

They should track Bellamy's heart rate.

I've copped a Bellamy blast before, it's not pretty.

read through the thread and you have to ask yourself the following questioons:

if dugan went to score the first try and had it kicked out, would you want a penalty try?

if mansour scored, crichton took ramien out, would you want an obstruction?

if api knocked the ball out of braileys hands, would you want a try?

sutton had a good game, penrith didnt, thats about it

Now we wait and see if Smith gets fined for the way he spoke to the refs. Claiming Sutton was helping Penrith and trying to make it an exciting finish and so on. Bet nothing happens.

Agree. The bounce of the ball went Melbourne's way, but the refs didn't.

I think he will. Ivan was fined $20k for the same thing.
