Cam Smith 100% chance of retiring if Storm win the premiership.

**** Melbourne and their grubby captain.

I so wanted to go for the Panthers but **** they make it hard to like them given how arrogant they have been behaving.

Still I think I’m going to back them only cos I want to see how the Cam Smith “retiring, not retiring” pantomime plays out just so I can sit back and watch the fireworks with their young hookers over the next few months.

Agree mate, I hate Penrith too. Very ****ing arrogant.

But I hate Storm and Smith more. Can't stand that self entitled, smug, arrogant ****er.

Smith giving the loser's speech with his leg sticking out of his head would be a pleasing outcome.

NRL to quickly throw a sheet over the new trophy that has a giant cam smith on it and drag the old provan summons one back out of storage

I’m going for the storm. Only because the panthers were 2 premierships up on us, then we clawed one back. Both coming in the comp in ‘67, I’d hate for them to get another one on in such a short amount of time. Storm have been so dominant for so long, what’s one more?

Unpopular opinion on here, but I actually like Cam Smith. Sure, he can be a bit grubby on the field but off the field he is a class act, as you could see after 2016 gf. So durable, consistent and amazing player

Another premiership almost guarantees his position as the GOAT too, if it hasn’t been solidified already.

Definitely going for Storm in this, I had a soft spot for Penrith but their arrogance is making it hard for me to follow them.

The biggest issue is the excessive amount the NRL media suck his dick and hold him up to be some godlike figure as though he isn't a grub and a sook. Diamond ring for example.
He also has a large part of his success due to actively and intentionally cheating the system, and he and Storm still act like they won those premierships.
Doesn't help either the next most prominent example of someone like this is his mate Billy who kicks people, slides into them and shoulder charges but always gets off because 'it's not his go'.
They and Storm have done their utmost to bend twist and intentionally break the rules of the NRL (and bodies of oppositions) but the NRL and media treat them like clean skinned darlings.

Really, really incredible player though.

Probably pretty similar to the arrogance we had in 2016.
Also not like Storm are without arrogance.

Yep.. Penrith coming across abit like that - don’t like Cleary (coach) did the Tigers dirty.

Go storm

exactly - storm winning is just par for the course, but someone else winning it brings me a different level of anguish and bitterness ha ha

i like how calm and controlled he is and conducts himself well in interviews

especially when dealing with the referees (usually) unlike jono thurston who never got called out for his potty mouth and lack of respect he showed the officials

if penrith win and they carve Ivan's head into the blue mountains I honestly don't know if there is a chisel big enough to tackle that smirking chin

Monday would have been a public holiday if Scomo's team made it to the big dance...
