the term 'star' in relation to an NRL player is used very loosly but I was thinking Noddy too, it make sense for a few reasons

What does the Roosters board have to do with it?

And the fact he played 300+ games is what he brings. Board members are meant to offer different skill sets and strengths. Having players on the board is common and a good idea.

Luke Ricketson is on the Chooks board. Both 300 gamers with 15yr careers. Noddy certainly remained in & around the game more than Ricko since retirement.

If you're waiting in the pot for a Mark Bouris type appointment you're gonna be extremely hard boiled.

Sounds like he's been fairly involved, with coaching and bits and pieces.

The shark cast guys did a great interview with noddy, its worth a listen

Anyone who has seen Noddy and Tooves hosting that online footy show would wonder whether Noddy was capable of ordering off a set menu
