matterson granted permission to leave - going to the titans with holbrock

Wonder how that'll impact retaining Arrow, if they'll be more inclined to let him leave early now, or if he'd be a bit more interested in staying with some help coming, if they can afford to retain him now without moving some of their wastage...

Also apparently Warriors interested in Egan

Dymock Replacement ?
None are strong creators of defence are they ?
Hope they don't pick Griffin , they'll ALL fall to sleep

Rookie Titans coach Justin Holbrook has made his first significant signing by appointing Jimmy Dymock as his assistant coach.

Dymock, who has spent the past two seasons at Cronulla, will join the Gold Coast on a three-year deal.

The former Test star has a relationship with Holbrook which dates back to their days together playing for Canterbury.

While he has forged the majority of his post-playing career as an assistant, Dymock’s coaching resume includes two stints as the interim coach of the Bulldogs and the Sharks.

He has also coached Tonga.

As a result of Dymock’s departure, the Sharks are now on the hunt for a replacement to assist John Morris at the Sharks in 2020.

While former head coach Shane Flanagan is unlikely to return to the club so soon, a string of candidates to support Morris could emerge including Nathan Brown, Anthony Griffin and Garth Brennan.

Holbrook will commence his NRL coaching career when he arrives on the Gold Coast next month.

I guess Dymock has given up on a head coaching job, suppose he's been turned down so much he's realized his time has passed.

Curious as to who we pick up, suppose we'll know pretty soon
